2013 USPSA GA State Championship

Dates

August 30^th-31^st with two flights of squads running half day format for either AM (7:30-12:30) or PM(1:00-5:30) both days.

Awards

This is a Cash Payback match with an awards ceremony following the end of shooting on Saturday afternoon. There will also be a Sponsor Door Prize random drawing for all non-gun items. Drawings for any guns will be done during the awards ceremony on Saturday afternoon. All other prizes will be drawn for based on your shooter number. Simply check in your bag at registration to see if you've won a prize.

Directions

Cherokee Gun Club is located in Gainesville which is NE of Atlanta. Cherokee Gun Club property is a cold range so please make accommodation before you arrive on property if you are carrying. Follow the paved road to the bottom of the hill to find the pistol bays. Please observe the posted speed limit at all times. Follow the signs to Registration and Safe Areas located at the range.

Parking

Please follow the signs, which will take you out on to the rifle range for parking. All areas around the pistol bays are for staff parking only.

Itinerary

Thursday 29^th August

The range will be open in the afternoon, so you can become familiar with the layout and look over the stages, but please stay out of the way of staff that may still be building/working on the range. Please do not operate any stage props involving any targets (eg. swingers). (Rule 4.5.1)
Registration will be open at 3:30pm and close promptly at 6:00pm.
The range will be locked down promptly at 6:00pm

Friday 30^th August

AM Session registration will open at 6:15am and close promptly at 7:15am.
Shooters meeting starts at 7:20am under the pavilion opposite bay/stage 5. Shooting will start as close to 7:30am as possible. Sun rise is scheduled for 6:30am, but we will wait until the light is adequate before starting the match.
AM Session is scheduled to finish at 12:30pm. Lunch is served immediately following that under the pavilion.

PM Session registration will open at 11:30am and close promptly at 12:45pm.
Shooters meeting starts at 12:50pm under the pavilion opposite bay/stage 5.
Shooting will start at 1:00pm.

Saturday 31^st August

AM Session registration will open at 6:15am and close promptly at 7:15am.
